CCLACC AWARDS BANQUET – Please see attached letter for more details:

As you know by now, the Annual Cedar Creek Lake Area Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet, traditionally held in March, is scheduled for July 19, 2021 at Cedar Creek Country Club. We’ve chosen a theme of You’ve Got a Friend in honor of all the friendship and love shown in our community during the very hard months that we’re still recovering from in many ways.

You’ll be getting an invitation in the mail soon, but I’m asking you to use this reminder to mark your calendar and make plans to attend this important event

              By the time we knew we had to cancel last year, our guests had already purchased their tickets and the food was ready to be cooked. The Country Club agreed to go ahead and cook the meals and very graciously packaged them individually. We got in touch with the City of Mabank, the Mabank Police, and Fire Departments, and arrangements were made for them to deliver the 100 + meals to various entities where there was a need. We got in touch with everyone who had purchased a ticket and offered them the option of a refund or to make a donation to cover the expenses and I’m pleased to say that one hundred percent of our members generously donated and kept the chamber from taking a big loss on a situation that was beyond our control. We can’t thank those folks enough. We were able to cancel our flower order from Mabank Floral and they generously did not charge us. Our members came through again and left the sponsorship money for flowers with the chamber, showing amazing generosity and blessings all the way around.

Tickets will go on sale soon at $35 per person and I know Cedar Creek Country Club is planning a delicious meal and the CCLACC Ambassadors are planning a great night overall for our members and friends. We hope you’ll be there to support the award winners and your chamber of commerce. If you know you’ll be attending, let chamber staff know and we’ll reserve your seat. Tables of 8 are available for $280.

SPECIAL BANQUET NOTE: Keeping with our tradition, members are being offered the opportunity to sponsor a table arrangement for only $50. As in past years, sponsor signs will be at the tables and the sponsors will be listed in the program, as well as other advertising venues. All of the arrangements will be given away at the end of the evening for lucky attendees to enjoy. If you’d like to sponsor a table decoration for $50, please let us know right away.
